Insurance

Filip car rental offers only full insurance option and all the extras free of charge (child seat, second driver, unlimited milage etc.) Read careful what's included and what not included.

Included in the price:

Insurance does NOT cover:
1.Off road driving – full liability
2. Tires
3. Driving under the influence of alcohol – full liability
4. Speeding violations – full liability
5. Lost keys and documents – 300€
6. Smoking in the vehicle - 100€ fee

Vehicles

Filip car rental is offering wide choice of vehicles, from small city cars, middle class comfort vehicles, family vehicles, up to luxury SUV and convertible. Filip car rental is offering vehicles in petrol or diesel option and wide range of automatic vehicles. All our vehicles are visually and technically in perfect condition. Vehicles are divided into groups, according to size and characteristics. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DELIVER ANOTHER MODEL FROM THE SAME VEHICLE CATEGORY OR UPGRADE.

Driver requirement

- The vehicle can be operated only by the person indicated in the rental agreement. The vehicle may also be operated by another person, in the rental agreement designated as an additional driver. Additional driver is included in the price.
- Minimum driver age is 21 years for all vehicle groups.
- The driver must present a valid driver's license, for at least 3 years. Foreign national driving licenses are also valid, presented in the original or in a legible, certified translation. International driving licenses are valid only with the accompanying national driving license.

Payment methods

Payment can be made by cash, credit or debit card, whichever you prefer. Payment is done upon pick-up, when you arrive and receive the vehicle. No advance payment is required.

Fuel policy

Client is obliged to return vehicle with the same level of fuel as picked up. If the level of fuel is lower, difference will be charged. If a higher level of fuel is returned, it will not be refunded.

Additional equipment

Additional equipment can be ordered when booking a vehicle: seat for babies, snow chains, etc. and it’s included in the price.

Vehicle delivery

Filip car rental offers the service of delivery and pickup of vehicles only at the Tivat airport and Podgorica airport.

Crossing borders

Filip car rental allows border crossings to Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Serbia and Albania. Border crossing is included in the price.

Traffic fines

Traffic and parking fines are the responsibility of the client, that is, the person indicated in the rental agreement.

How Our Insurance Works

At Filip Car Rental, we keep things simple and stress-free. Unlike most rental companies that require a police report for any type of damage, our insurance process is designed to save you time, money, and hassle.

No Police Report Needed

You do not need a police report for damages to the vehicle.

The police are only required if:
• There is a major accident
• Another vehicle is involved
• Someone is injured

What to Do in Case of an Accident
1. Stop the car immediately
2. Turn off the engine
3. Contact Filip Car Rental right away

Insurance Rules

To keep your insurance valid, please follow these simple rules:
• No alcohol while driving
• Obey all speed limits
• No off-road driving — asphalt roads only
• Do not drive on closed or restricted roads
